The Queens Court

My apologies for having been absent. Unlike the inhabitants of Arohanui I am merely a mortal human and have been struck down with one of life's little bugs.
Today I wish to introduce you to the Queens Court. Her Majesty herself heads the list

The Queens Court.
Queen Millie - Bridie’s Mother, Queen Millie the sovereign of Arohanui, a gentle and caring monarch she also understands and loves the goats. Because part of their very charm is their unspoiled innocence, she has decreed that the goats must never know of any dangers they face. In looks it is said that her daughter Bridie very much resembles the queen. With the same gentle smile and beautiful golden coat. Millie's beautiful brown eyes though twinkle with a little more mischief than her serious minded daughters.

Countess Hesby de Courage - One of the queen’s oldest and most trusted friends, Countess Hesby is not an Irish wolfhound. She is of another race and travelled long and far to find her home in Arohanui. The land from which she hailed, Lalaland, is oceans and many hundreds of miles overland from the kingdom, it had taken her many years to make her way to her adopted land.
Legend has it that in the Countess’ old homeland all of the ladies wore blue flowers in their hair. but it was more likely this was an urban myth, perpetuated by Countess Hesby herself and manufactured to stop the constant questions by inquisitive youngsters over why she always wore blue flowers in her hair.

Lady Casidhe de Reiziger - Another whose travels brought her to Arohanui from a distant land. She arrived here more recently than Countess Hesby, and the lands outside of Arohanui have become far more dangerous since the countess travelled them. Lady Casidhe fought off much danger in her quest to reach the promised land and is very knowledgeable because of it.

Lady Tiger Lilly - Her nature is such that she is adored by all who lay eyes upon her but those who seek to do wrong tremble with fear when she approaches, and with good reason.

Lady Pinky - A very old hound she was often made fun of by the younger generation. It seemed her name when given to her as a pup had been foretelling of who she would become. She is always adorned with one of her many varying sparkling pink scarves. If it is pink and it sparkled Lady Pinky would wear it.
She had even been known to let the faeries paint her nails pink. Something which set tongues to wagging and the young pups to laughing but Lady Pinky paid no heed to what others thought and was comfortable in her own eccentricities.

Druidess Fiona - High Priestess of the Arohanui. An austere and aloof hound the priestess garners the highest respect from all of the palaces inhabitants.
